I had some fun with this assignment. I really love my first specimen, the fireweed. The second specimen had a mishap so I ended up restructuring it a bit. An overall fun assignment that I will likely continue to use and also introduce to my homeschool kiddos as well as my student-teaching class this fall.
Nice job on your voucher specimens. The fireweed turned out very nice. You should frame that one, great job. For the labels you should add the author names to the scientific names, so for fireweed, this would be Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop. Well done.
