You could have taken a bit more time and apply your newly acquired botanical knowledge to describe some of the parts more in detail, like inferior ovary in the rose hip, or trifoliate leaves with a large stipule subtending the leaf. Be careful about the porate anther dehiscence your describe in Sambucus, I think those are the remnants of the sepals on the fruit, thus an inferior ovary. I love your longitudinal section of the rose hip, that very well done!
