I live in Ketchikan, Alaska with my husband and our five kids. I work as the Library Assistant at UAS Ketchikan. I am interested in all things Alaska, including native plants and Alaska Native culture. I am most interested in using what I learn in our ethnobotany classes to help preserve Native knowledge and I also want to help develop curriculum to teach kids about our native plants. I am working towards my certificate in ethnobotany here at UAF and contemplating my next leap into grad school in the near future.
