Greetings! Residing in Halifax, only a twenty minute jaunt from the ocean. I live with two fabulous women and a huge German Sheppard. Currently, I spend all of my waking hours cramming my noggin with splendid academia, as I am an undergraduate student, at Dalhousie. I am persueing a bachelor of Science...double major in Environment and Sustainability/Anthropology, minor in Indigenous Studies, bare with me though, it changes frequently. I have always been keen to spend time in the outdoors, and learning more about the unique environment around us. I spent this past summer living in Carcross, Yukon & was amazed by the edibility of the forest, and the beautiful relationship people have with them. I am motivated by food, as many are, but more specifically motivated by the complexity and interconnected worlds of plants. For the rest of my life, I hope to work with people and plants, in a respectful manner and am so incredibly excited to have the opportunity to be in this program, to learn more about the history, but also how to foster these relationships!
