Hello! I am currently living in Western New York and intend to move back to Fairbanks, AK soon. I love being in nature and take pride in being as self-sufficient as I can be. I enjoy learning how history, culture, and environment all play an influence the world that we see and experience. I am eager to continue learning about the plants of the Boreal Forest and their many roles in the lives of those living in Alaska.

Well done Shelby! I love some of your ovary cross sections. The pokeweed one is superb! You do not find 10 carpels too often and you cut it at the right time, nice example of syncarpy with all the carpels margins visible and an ovule/seed in each carpel (maybe one is underdeveloped).
