Here are my selection of plants I collected to press for this assignment. I will circle back in a few days to provide updates on how well they press on the moleskin sheets.
Author: Khaalis Smithers
Hi, I am Tyshawn Khaalis Smithers, though I preferably choose to go by either Khaalis or Tyshawn Khaalis as a moniker. I consider myself to be studied and bodied in multiple areas of life, but my focuses lie in self-exploration and the study of how humans interrelate through experience and the construction/absence of boundaries and morals. I believe that people have a deep general capacity for transcendence (if they desire it) but to achieve it, we must be willing to completely dismantle our egos and passions so that we can reconstruct and reestablish them. I believe that I am special, as are others, and that specialty is contingent upon how committed to ourselves we can be. I love to read, write, sing and do anything musically-inclined, eat, abstract my experience, and explore tabooism. I am African-American and/or Black, and proud. I am gender-nonconforming and believe myself to be chosen for a specific purpose although I am unaware of what it is totally. I love meeting people but am highly anxious though I consider myself to be likeable and interesting. Please provide me space to grow and foster better behavior! Nice to meet everyone.
Nice job on these. The first one the garden balsam looks like a rose to me, maybe you could have another look at that one.
Thank you! I intend to go back and update the label along with photo updates of the pressing.
