All of these plants were picked at the fish hatchery that I work at in Anchorage!

Nice job Carrie, for the sunflower family, it is always a bit tricky for students to make out that the flower is really an inflorescence, a head of flowers, a capitulum, and as such the outer petal-like structures are really the ray flowers, and the inner the disk flowers are the tiny yellow ones. While the disk flowers have stamens and a pistil, the ray flowers can only be bisexual, but are often male with sterile stamens.
