I've always had an intimate relationship with plants. I grew up gardening, hunting, and foraging in rural Minnesota. Some of my favorite memories are gathering wild asparagus and helping my family make maple syrup. My interest in knowledge of plants has continued to grow since then in both my personal and professional realms. I can often be found exploring plants and wilderness, or experimenting with foraged plants in my kitchen. I am particularly interested in the intersection of plants, subsistence, and sustainability.
