Chantelle’s Plant Dissections – BIOL F190: Intro to Alaska Flora

This assignment was stressful for someone camping…I know I would have had much better images had I been at home with access to microscopy. I have also never used Thinglink, so that was a bit intimidating. I did enjoy the capability of projects and plan to continue to explore this platform. Hopefully, these open okay!

I am finishing my 28th year in the field of education. I started my career as a Title I reading teacher, but spent most of the time in the high school science classroom. I currently work in the Office of Federal Programs at our state department of education working with ESEA grant programs. I have two grown children and love to camp, explore and learn! I first became interested in ethnobotany while taking the "Introduction to Alaska Flora" class. EBOT 251 is my second ethnobotany class and I am really excited to do projects with plants!

Nice job on these Chantelle! You sure mastered ThingLink. Well done, especially considering you are camping at the moment. A few more images of dissections would have been nice, I am sure you have a sharp knife on your trip :). Well done!
