What a great idea to classify the plants by the presence of hairs. That immediately separates the spruce. Determining the length and type of hairs on the 3 other plants is more challenging as you need to know the length and types of hairs of each plant. I had to look up the definitions for each type of hair. Still learning . So for a lay person the key might be a bit more difficult to navigate.
