Attached below are my 4 plant dissections! I focused mostly on edible/medicinal plants found in Alaska because that is why I took this class, but I have learned so many useful things this summer and can’t wait to put the knowledge to use in my future adventures.
Thanks for your dissections! Well done. Just be careful about the yarrow ‘flowers’. These are actually inflorescences, and then the heads the capitulum are arranged in secondary inflorescences. The white petals on the periphery represent the ray flowers (in your case they have three lobes, so they are the true ray flowers as compared to the five-lobed ray flowers of the ligulate type indicated the arrow) which are zygomorphic, and the central flowers are the disk flowers, which are actinomorphic.
